David Gilmour on Sept 5th. This is a 'Pre Tour' gig at Brighton (on the South Coast of England). I missed out on the Royal Albert Hall dates but picked up the info for this via a link on a Floyd site. Should be interesting - he's going to be warming up.

Man, I wish I lived in a bigger area. We have never got anybody good. B.B. King came here once but that was one of the very few good ones. I looked at the upcoming schedule for this year and the year after and I hadn't heard of anyone on the list.

Springsteen is coming to Philly 2/12/16.

I'm going to take the Missus.

Suffice to say, even though I will give it a try, I probably won't get the tickets in the 'conventional' way.

If I can pull this off, I'll be, like, the Elvis of Valentines Day.

Going to try for Pru Center (Newark) or MSG. Not looking forward to on sale day though.

You know, that's the one aspect of the 'old days' that is better than today.

When you camped out the sidewalk night before, you could get an idea of what kind of shot you had for tickets by how close you were to the door.

Now, you sit on the phone with no idea how far down the list you are.
