I have to smile when I asked Bucky and Thumper and MP about which Kiss albums to get they all recommended Alive I, II and III...I don't know if that covers them all but most bands I am content with their best live recording and that's it.
:rs:

KISS' best live recording is far and away their first live album, Alive!

I have that one, and three others I think...I would have to look to make sure.

Nice list as well Death On Credit, except for the Leonard Cohen album...I am not a big poetry fan myself.:nw:
After rock 'n roll, literature is my greatest love...but I'm actually not fond of poetry either.

I love Cohen, though. He's like a singing, guitar strumming Dostoevsky. For some reason, I can only listen to him in the Fall/Winter, though...

I love a good novel myself, I have a nice collection, but poetry and the old "Beat" generation music/narratives never did anything for me personally.

I do hope Cohen has success with his latest projects/tours though, he took a bath a couple of years ago financially when his "Accountant/manager" absconded with most of his money, he was almost flat broke despite the recent commercial success of his album and tour.
