Quite a list there OzzyVanHalen.

I have all of them except Kiss's debut.

Nice list as well Death On Credit, except for the Leonard Cohen album...I am not a big poetry fan myself.:nw:

I have it and I'm not all that blown away by it honestly. KISS sound much better live than on just about any of their studio albums. I heard songs like "Strutter" and "Black Diamond" in their live incarnations first and (for me at least) the original versions just sound weaker.

I know the feeling I am the same with Ted Nugent, I like his studio albums alright, but Double Live Gonzo is the first album of his I ever played so it's firmly planted it's banner as his best work in my library.

I have to smile when I asked Bucky and Thumper and MP about which Kiss albums to get they all recommended Alive I, II and III...I don't know if that covers them all but most bands I am content with their best live recording and that's it.:rs:

I agree with Ted. "Double Live Gonzo" is his best. That's when Ted was at his absolutely peak. :grinthumb

I firmly believe that if you pick up a live album from just about any band (unless it's just a crappy live album) then you can tell if that band is good and has actual talent.
