"Enter Sandman" is considered classic rock nowadays? Oh alright. :bonk:

Apparently Living After Midnight is too. Considering Judas Priest are actually heavy metal and same with Enter Sandman that says how seriously this list gets taken by me.

I agree with the observation that this looks like any "Classic Rock" FM station's playlist.

But I like almost all the songs posted so far...the order is not what I would choose by any means.

Riff...I keep metal separate, most folks don't pay attention to bands like Priest, Maiden or Saxon let alone the other massively talented bands putting out great music. Metal will always be an "orphan" when it comes to mainstream anything...and that's fine with me the fans all over the world set the balance right when they support their concerts and buy their CD's merchandise.:hb:

Bands can be both heavy metal and classic rock, they aren't mutually exclusive

No one said they are mutually exclusive as bands, I was merely just saying those 2 particular songs fall under more heavy metal then anything classic rock. In my opinion anyway.

Hmmm...

Something by the Beatles (not the actual song 'Something')
Something by the Rolling Stones (I'm guessing Satisfaction, Brown Sugar, or Gimme Shelter)
Stairway to Heaven
Bohemian Rhapsody
Uhh...Johnny B. Goode?
