Re: Tool...

Only advice I can give is if you even hear a rumor about them coming where you are, try to get tickets. It will be worth it, trust me. They had been selling tickets over the phone back in 07 and I had to be on hold for like...2 and a half hours, until they said "your purchase has been successful" and I was like "YES YES YES!"

haha
Alright, I will do that but I don't think they will be back for many years simply because Australia is the most convenient place to visit!

Yeah, I don't think they'll ever come back here for a while either. They rarely ever tour the West Coast of the US, so I got very lucky.

I'm sure you'll get lucky too. :grinthumb

Re: Tool...

I have only got Aenima and 10,000 Days, and while Aenima is brilliant, 10,000 Days just takes the cake for me! I love the complexity on some of their songs and the simplicity on others. I also thoroughly enjoy the combination of prog metal and post rock from this album!

Re: Tool...

Prison Sex is a great song, Intolerance too.
The Undertow album was a good followup to the ****** EP release.

Re: Tool...

I have had a huge love for Tool since I first saw the video to Sober on MTV way back in the day. I used to steal my brother's copies of Undertow and Aenima and crank up my stereo.

Maynard James Keenan is one of the greatest songwriters to come out of the 90s IMO. Not to mention he's a fantastic yet sadly underrated vocalist.

Here's just a few of my favorites...

And their new stuff just keeps getting better and better.

This is just a small sample of what I love from this incredible band.

Been ages since I listened to Tool, probably a year or so since the last one. I got Lateralus cranking. Such a fantastic listen. Songs like The Grudge are just pure brilliance.

For all you Tool fans who have been waiting since 2006 for a new album........

maynard_james_keenan_1756611.jpg

you will have to wait longer. Maynard says there won't be an album in 2013.
