I must admit that I have not had the opportunity to visit a concert. Time and money issues have prevented me from doing so. But I am curious about anyone's opinion on what you consider to be the worst music venue you have visited.

In March 2013 I went to a rock festival, with Ken Hensley headlining, which was held in a church. It was just surreal - no alcahol allowed, almost more bouncers than audience, very subdued atmosphere. Ken Hensley was great but I don't think he felt comfortable with it at all.

Probably Cameron Indoor Stadium where I watched Dr. Hook, along with Zappa & the Mothers of Invention. It wasn't bad, but it's pretty small.

any and every concert I've seen at an 'native' casino.

(other than standup, which let's face it, standup can be held in a broom closet and be good)

The Viper Room and Escape Metal Corner in Vienna, Austria.

The Viper Room used to be called The Monastery and was a really cool goth club, but they changed it to a pretty crappy concert venue some years ago.

Alpine Valley in East Troy Wisconsin. We had lawn seats and it was nothing but mud. Never going back again.

It's not a bad venue so much as it is just a venue that I dislike. The House of Blues is like....the Planet Hollywood of music venues. It just feels like it's trying to be cool and authentic but it just feels artificial, mass produced, and unnecessarily expensive. What sucks the most is that a lot of the cool music that come through Cleveland goes through there.

God have I been to lots of grubby flea pits where I'd never dream of using the ladies or I've had to wipe my feet on the way out. Things like that don't really worry me that much, I'm only there for a few hours, not moving in. As long as they sell me a beer and I can see and hear the band I'm OK, maybe I'm just easily pleased.

None in particular comes to mind... Sports Arena, Staples, Long Beach Arena, The Forum, Irvine Meadows, Pacific Amphitheatre, Hollywood Bowl, Anaheim Convention Center... All had their pros and cons. I've been to smaller venues where there was intimacy but felt like a sardine.

I've been to bar shows where fights would break out and the police would show up. Good times... :****:

In 2012 I went to see Serbian band ''Kraljevski Apartman'' - to be honest, they weren't bad at all but still I was very bored that I nearly fell asleep.
