I'm not saying everthing The Who did was perfect. But I never heard a Who album I didn't like. Even after Keith Moon died.

I think the 60's Who is sadly overlooked by a lot of fans.

Here's a sometimes forgotten gem...

and one of my favorite Who songs...

So Sad About Us

''Apologies mean nothing
When the damage is done
But I cant switch off my loving
Like you cant switch off the sun''

Live version...

Great song! Very underrated, one of my favorites from them.

I'm one of them guys,,,:heheh:

I am not big on the early material the Who recorded. I felt they became far more interesting later on, like Tommy for instance.

When I bought "The Kids Are Alright", I was really disappointed. I have 6 of their albums and that is enough for me.

I have seen bits and pieces of it GM but not in it's entirety. I don't know what it was about that album, but the critics were all excited and raving about it in the magazines back then, and when I bought it,,,well I found it lacking. Considering my entry point with the Who was Who's Next and Who Are You?,,,might have had something to do with it. I have backtracked to Tommy and Live at Leeds, but that is as far back as I go.
