Amazing band, one of mine favorites. They had that cool image, with black shades playing mean rock and roll, who wouldn't love them? Their songs are evoking dirty street dance late at night, just the music to dance to when you're absolutely free. Their best albums are first and second, making them fuzzy cinics with awesome rythm. Oh God I have urge to listen VU&N right now!

One of my all time favorites.These guys made groundbreaking into a science..!
And Lou Reed, be it his vocals or his lyrics, was absolute brilliance personified..
