The Joy Formidable is a Welsh alternative rock band formed in 2007 in North Wales and currently located in London. The band consists of Ritzy Bryan (lead vocals, guitar), Rhydian Dafydd (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Matt Thomas (drums, percussion).

I really like this and for the life of me I can't put my finger on exactly why. It's just very pleasing to my ear. I agree with Lou that I really like the vocals. Also the very forward bass playing in "Cholla" is really cool.
