Shame we can't get tickets, not paying over the odds for this one, maybe they will do a festival or more gigs..

I like them a lot. Sort of like the Velvet underground New York type of sound. Dark clothing, sombre and moody. Saw them in the Melbourne Australia just after they released Psychocandy. Great gig too.

I'll bet it was, would love to see them, loved them from the start, no tickets left over here so missed them.

Love that film, and the book, I wish Jesus and Mary chain would do a festival or two so I could see them without paying loads of money.

Sweaty..you finally got your wish. JESUS AND THE MARY CHAIN headlined the COSMOSIS festival in Manchester and we were both there to witness it. A very good performance, with the band kicking off with "April skies ".Quite a while since I had seen the band but worth the wait.
Reading up about them they are working on a new album...should be interesting

Well I was there Lou, I was at the front and I was in awe, great performance all the way, worth the wait, would love to hear the new stuff, must check out those remastered albums, they have lots of extras and a DVD too. Keep touring lads, you still have it.

Inspired by the gig....I realised I had no "Mary chain" on cd. Plenty on vinyl albums 12 ins etc.Picked up Automatic/ Stoned and dethroned and Sound of speed....all at a bargain price
