Lots of good music in '68.
Some pretty crummy social/political/historical events though.

MLK assassination in April. Bobby Kennedy 2 months later. Riots all over the U.S. in protest of the Vietnam War. A number of other things that I'm not going to go into.
But the music... yeah, some great stuff that year.
