which albums have the best stereos effects on it?
when dark side of the moon came out one of the things that really blew peoples minds were the stereo effects. no one up til then had really explored stereo much before, i don't think.

Quite a few come to mind including DSOTM...I've always thought the Cars debut was a fantastic album both musically and the stereo imaging is excellent as well.

An interesting choice, Bruce. you've made me want to hear that now! Golden Earring integrated stereo effects as brilliantly as Pink Floyd (on Moontan and Contraband), but they seemed to have stopped using them now. I never tire of hearing them: the girl on Moontan is utterly surreal and you can feel the windmill in your bones on Contraband. There was some poor stereo on albums too. On the early Thin Lizzy tracks, they just split the instruments between the two channels, so you got some instruments or on one side and some on the other. Nothing could diminish the music though.

The beginning of "Children Of The Sun" by Billy Thorpe is some excellent stereo effects.

These are more subtle, but brilliant nonetheless. Listen to the ever so slightly different guitar tracks across the stereo spectrum.

David Lee Roth's Skyscraper. Unfortunately, the music isn't quite as good as the stereo imagery.
