Dark Side of the Moon, perhaps as recognized by the masses as any album and saying that I can't stand it is an understatement. Overproduced and dreadfully dull, it's exactly the opposite of what rock and roll ought to be. I don't know whether punk rock had to happen but it sure as hell needed to, after this.

I can agree with this. It has its good moments but for me as an album it did nothing special like WYWH and Animals did.

As someone already mentioned, 'Pet Sounds'. Still a good album, by any count, but just a little overhyped.

More so 'Thriller' by Michael Jackson. Sure, I see the appeal, but I never really got into his style of music, as much as I tried to. The record sales for this one are crazy, so I'm sorry if anyone is a little annoyed at my judgement.

For me it's Def Leppard's Hysteria. Don't understand what the hype was about. Thinking about it, the whole NWOBHM movement leaves me cold. Very few albums that I could say I loved. Sorry

Ac/dc - back in black. Annoying guitar and vocals. Don't even get the reason why this is radio friendly and loved by millions. I get some of ac/dc's early songs but this is just nothing good or interesting to me.

Has to be OK Computer.....there was nothing in that album that grooved me in any way. I just do not get it.

Could say that about almost all Radiohead stuff. I borrowed all their albums from a friend. Listened over and over and they just leave me cold

Tori Amos - Unrepentant Geraldines. Maybe I just don't get it but I find it to be a huge let-down. After reading glowing reviews I figured - GREAT! She's back to Under the Pink, but nooooo. I can't even find where I put it and I don't care at all.

Bat Out of Hell - wtf is that all about. Even now, the best part of 40 years after it's release, I can't understand why anyone would want to buy it.

The Joshua Tree. Other than the popular songs on the album, which have been over-played for years, to my ears it's filled with average material, nothing worthy of the album's status. A legendarily great album is supposed to be filled with great songs.
