Getting rid of Derek St. Johns (or whatever that guy's name was) doomed his band to mediocrity.

^^Derek St. Holmes was his former bandmate and you are right Khor something massive was lost when he left the band.

^^I think Derek came back for a reunion not so long ago but it was only a "one of" nothing permanent.

Musically, Ted is so far down the road into cheeseville (Damn Yankees etc) that nothing short of a miracle could revive him to Dukes status.

Derek St. Holmes did come back and tour and all that.

He's on the new DVD/ Blu ray as well, but it's too late for me. I also agree that the early Derek St. Holmes years were his BEST years
