Oh and I'm another who is quite impressed with Alvin Lee's Woodstock performance. Incredible and ahead of it's time.

However he left his bass player and drummer out to dry for most of it as they had nothing much to do but...bang their heads and flam a snare drum for a while...

But it's awesome!!

I feel bad now though as this Nugent thread is in the 60's forum..so here is a Friday treat for this thread!!

Bloody hell, I must admit that you guys are into REAL rock and know how to show that too with yer replies here.....now you know why I totally enjoy relating to you peeps here about rock music !
I must state that I dig BOTH Ted and Frank's guitar lix....of course you can't compare their styles but their sheer power, yes!!! IMO . I mean if you want sheer power with that magical psychedelic touch, Frank's your man, but if you want pure electricity in music, go for Ted!!!

Just found the Uncle Ted Thread...I was only 15 when I saw him at Hammersmith Odeon and it was like being belted in the face with a plank of wood I was stunned. He is one of my heroes. Double Live Gonzo is a must for anyone.
