I Walk Alone was the first of her solo stuff Id listened to, hard not to be 'in love' so to speak with that music and vocals.

I have been a fan of early Nightwish for years and have even see her in concert with Nightwish so I'm not exactly new to her voice just haven't paid much attention to her solo stuff after hearing her first single is all.

I actually stood dead center in front of her about 25 feet from the stage when I saw Nightwish live at the HOB in L.A.

I loved Tarja with Nightwish. Vocally, she is simply unparalelled, perhaps barring opera. However, Tuomas is the artist and the architect in Nightwish, and without his talent to guide her voice, I find her solo stuff to lack variety and depth. I still enjoy it, mind you, but I miss Nightwish.

Anette's voice is too weak for Tuomas' music. He'll catch on.

I had a really bad obsession with Tarja two years ago, and I still love her. I love Nightwish with both singers, and Tarja's solo stuff is pretty decent, even tough it's not as good as the stuff she did with Nightwish.

But she has such a beautiful voice. :

I dont like to compare her solo music to Nightwish, they are different in their own ways, she does a lot more classical stuff in her solo music.
