Talisman were a Swedish hard rock band formed by virtuoso bass player Marcel Jacob. Jeff Scott Soto got the call to be the frontman and accepted. Both Soto and Jacob had played on Yngwie Malmsteen's "Marching Out" in 1985 and were the core of the band with a revolving line-up of guitarists and drummers over the course of seven albums from 1990-2006.

Sadly in 2009 Marcel Jacob committed suicide at age 45, after personal and health problems. The band left behind a fine catalog of material covering melodic hard rock with dashes of funk and metal. Let's do this!!

Great sound Tunez! I never heard of them before. They remind me of another band but I can't put my finger on it. I like Standing On Fire, I'll Be Waiting and Lightning Strikes the best I think. Another band I'll be looking into more. Thanks for posting!
