I like this song but really don't care for the whole half of the end with all the agonizing grunts, screams, moans and waste of alot of tape. I know it's about kicking herion or drugs but I get the point 3 minutes ago..

Rolling Stones - Can't You Hear Me Knocking. I adore the first 3+ minutes of this song, then it goes into the 4 minute outro (did I just say `adore`?!) The instrumental and sax-filled outro is cool, at first, then it drags and it's WAY too long.

They could have easily made this song 4:30 in length and it would have been one of the best things they ever did, but for me, my ranking of this song among so many other great Stones tunes always drops when I have to listen to the last 2-3 minutes of it.

First song that came to mind when I saw this thread. Good call Snoopy.

Never heard the song until now but I totally agree with you.

Just about any song that has profanity in it. There are so many ways to articulate your point, I just think it's cheap.

Not all songs, though.

That's ok to me, because it fits there. Swearing for the sake of promoting an intimidating image whatever...eh, I'll pass.


Layla, to me, is one of the best songs ever, right up until the 145 minute piano/guitar work at the end of it.

Also, any Journey song in which Neal Schon plays a really fast solo. It always sounds really muddy and chaotic. I just can't stand it.
