Hi all, I have recently joined the forum and am wondering if anyone can identify a song from some bits-and-pieces lyrics.
I'm pretty sure it's a male singer, possibly solo or in a group. I would guess it's from the late 70s, maybe early 80s. As for the style? I recall it being a bit *glam rock*.
"Everybody has an invitation"
or, it might be
"Everybody needs a friend to turn to"
.
.
.
"Come along and let your feelings show!"
"Come and joinnnnnn, come and JOINNNNN, come and join, if you can"
"Come and joinnnnnn, come and JOINNNNN, if you cannnnnn, [something] man"
The last time I heard it was in France in 2008; an amateur group on stage suddenly launched into it, and I missed the chance to ask them what the song was called.
