Still remember a song in my head 28 years ago. Was on the last day of high school during my senior year of high school. All my books were handed in and locker cleaned out with my stuff out and said my goodbyes to a few of my teachers. Walked out to my car unlocking it and threw my stuff in the back seat Found one Alice Cooper CD that I wanted out with one certain song and found it. I had my attachment put in the radio and hooked my cd player. Right at the exit of the parking lot played the song singing it knowing I was done with high school graduating. I almost got stopped by a cop doing it dodging a bullet there. This is the song I played going home

Even as far back as junior high, even the schools were playing School's Out over the speakers on the last day.
For the record, that is an amazing album, even though the title track was it's only pick on the original Alice Cooper's Greatest Hits.
Just a phenomenal album.

I was in High School when this came out in '72. Even though there were many of us singing this loudly, our school admin (in 1972) wasn't anywhere cool enough to let this long haired, chicken head spittin' freak on the intercom. This was the era of Buck Owens and Herb Albert /s
