*sigh*

It's getting more and more frustrating to even come here the past few days. How many people have double or triple posts in threads because we can't even tell if the stuff we posted went through. It's not just in threads, it's in PMs as well.

Logging in seems instant. Logging out can take a couple of minutes.

Posting or even trying to jump from one sub forum to the next subforum ... same shit, over and over and over. There's the little "I'm working" bar that you'll see in a browser (if you are on a desktop computer or laptop). Mobile is just brutal. Preview a post = brutal. Attaching a file? Brutal. Bounce from one subforum to another to another? Well, "bounce" is no longer the operative word. More like "meander through the sludge"

This started 2 - 3 days ago and has gone from super slow to 522, 525, 524 errors showing that the host site is down.

Shit happens, I get that, but it seems to happen more and more on this site in the past year than it did in the 8-9 years prior. I'm not belittling the site, but there is a problem here that is NOT being addressed. I started posting some of this stuff in this thread simply so that there was a paper trail that could be backtracks via logs (database side, server-side, host-side), but it is seems like it's being ignored.

I e-mailed Shaggy and let him know exactly what you posted and asked him to take a look at the diagnostics and such on his end to see if he could fix any bugs that he could find. :)

Site completely went tits-up again this morning around 4am (central time) After about 45 minutes of seeing 525, 524 and 522 errors, I finally gave up, no clue what time it did come back online. Usually when I see this, the sister sites are also down, but at least one of the sister sites was completely unaffected.

I don't know what is causing this (although I have suspicions), but this is happening more and more often.

For the past week or more, the site has been on-and-off VERY flakey in it's response times to posts, browsing, messaging, etc. Logging in always seems to go fast, but logging out sometimes takes minutes.

I got that message once the other day for the first time. The forum usually runs fine here most of the time. The forum can be a bit slow in the early afternoon hours (Morning USA). The like button works a bit slow now and then. I don't think it is a software problem but a host issue.
