Fantastic live version of Polar Nights off Tokyo Tapes LP. Uli's singing might not be brilliant, but the guitar work... aaaah, yeah!

I always got that Uli was trying to emulate Hendrix's singing style by a lot of the way he used inflection in especially the slower stuff. I often wonder what he might have sounded like if he just sang 'clean'.
His guitar work is among my very favorite metal players of all time. Bad ass through and through.

LONESOME CROW is one of my favourite albums of all time.
Followed by DARK SIDE OF THE MOON and then WAR OF THE WORLDS.

Weird considering my favourite band is Led Zeppelin.

Wow! What are the odds?! I was just reading up about the Scorpions today and thinking I really don't know much about them except a few hits here and there. I looked up their discography and even read about the making of the Lovedrive cover! And then now I see electric funeral's post.

Anyway, my favourite songs of theirs are actually Wind of Change and Send Me An Angel. Maybe I should get Crazy World to start with.
