As much as I love Alice I think "Ziggy Stardust" is a much better album as a whole. It's so elegant and takes you on such a delightfully strange journey, both lyrically and musically.

Ziggy Stardust was the first album I ever bought...Way back when I was 7. I still love it just as dearly today. Maybe more, now that I actually understand it.
