Last battle, Sabbath crushed Deep Purple 23 - 1 so I have to reserve the 2 next albums with Evans, NOT because are bad albums, it's because they don't have chance to fight against the 2 Sabbath next albums...so I reserve that 2 albums to fight with other weaker Sabbath albums...

    Previous Score:

    Match #1

    - Black Sabbath 23 -- Shades Of Deep Purple 1

    Bands Score:

    - Sabbath 1 -- Purple 0

Paranoid. In Rock is Deep Purple's best though.

Paranoid easily. In Rock was good but still not Purples best in my opinion.

Paranoid = The original Heavy Metal Bible

I think that BS broke ground with their debut album, but to me, Paranoid
truly and completely defined the Heavy Metal genre, even if it wasn't
considered "heavy metal" at the time.

Paranoid was my first exposure to the band. I liked it so much I went out and bought their debut.
