Royal Blood are a two piece hard/alternative/garage rock band from Sussex, UK, consisting of bass guitarist and vocalist Mike Kerr, and drummer Ben Thatcher. These guys have grabbed my attention in a massive way, I absolutely love their sound (made up of just bass guitar, drums and vocals) and energy and reckon they are destined for big things. In March they released a four-track EP 'Out of the Black' in US, which I'm hoping will soon be available over here.

Wow! Definitely my cup of tea :grinthumb Thanks for the heads up Tray.

I don't know if you've listened to Kings Of The North. I wrote about them in my journal - also a guitar/drums/vocals duo but from Melbourne.

They have been getting a bit of play on 'Planet Rock'. That's a hell of a big sound they're belting out for a two-piece.

I've not heard Kings of the North before, Sunny, but I will check them out for sure!

Yeah Johnny, amazing how two people can make such a full and powerful sound :)

Wondered whether you would like them Lou!

Me too. From what I've read they put on a great live performance so that should stand them in good stead.
