Another Trower album that is overlooked from 2000 is "Go My Way". The title track which is a little more that 9 minutes has some fantastic Trower guitar . This album is never mentioned much and deserves a mention in my opinion.

I loved Robin's guitar playing and his first album Twice Removed From Yesterday in 1973 through to Beyond The Mist especially in 1985 and I even named my son after him in his honour (and I told Robin that as well) but his more recent material in the last 15-20 years has a bit to 'bluesy' rather than more rock for my liking.

Despite the absence of the great Jim Dewar, this track has the great Davey Pattison on vocals, while the experienced Pete Thompson and the returning Dave Bronze make a pretty good rhythm section. In the Dewar days, I liked Trower as a second voice, but I do not want to hear him as a lead singer. There must be a good bassist/singer somewhere that he could employ, although I cannot think of one at the moment.
