Rob Grill of the Grass Roots, dead at 67 :(

Rob Grill, lead singer of the 1960s rock band the Grass Roots, whose hits included “Midnight Confessions,” “Temptation Eyes” and “Let’s Live for Today,” died July 11 at a hospice in Tavares, Fla. He was 67.

The Mount Dora, Fla., resident had recently suffered a head injury in a fall and was in a coma, according to reports. He also suffered from other health problems, including two recent strokes.

I didn't dig too deep into the Grass Roots' catalog, but the singles were always top notch. RIP Rob, and thanks for the music.
