I think Flea and Chad Smith are one of the top 5 rhythm sections ever created.

^Yeah, the new album is incredible. I've given it quite a few listens since it's release. One of their best imo.

I may be in the minority but I bought it and I'm not really feeling it! This is not the Chili Peppers I'm into I guess! The album kind of just feels blan to me!

The funkier older albums I still prefer to the new one but the new one was better then By the Way and Californication which I hated.

O.K., that makes sense because I love those. I think they make great harmonies onthose combined with the normal funk. Blood Sugar Sex Magik will always be my fav but I just don't like it when it's plain all out funk. It just seems more thrown out there and I prefer melodies and more carefully contructed songs. This one may be to raw for me perhaps.

Thats fair enough, I like Blood Sugar Sex Magik too, Freaky Styley was my favourite though.
