O.K., that makes sense because I love those. I think they make great harmonies onthose combined with the normal funk. Blood Sugar Sex Magik will always be my fav but I just don't like it when it's plain all out funk. It just seems more thrown out there and I prefer melodies and more carefully contructed songs. This one may be to raw for me perhaps.
I do think on Im With You there are melodic moments to enjoy, maybe that is what could lead me to giving Californication etc another spin, try to see if I can get into them.

One Hot Minute has given me a lot of nostalgia.
This song particularly I loved as a kid.

"My Friends" is a good song. I still have One Hot Minute on cassette. Two weeks ago I saw the CD in the used section at my local record store. I passed on it (don't know why) but I remember it being a decent album. I always liked "Aeroplane" as well.

This is a GREAT clip from the original Hard 'N Heavy video magazine from the 80's and 90's.

All RHCP fans will love this if they haven't seen it before that is.

Enjoy! :grinthumb

Hard to imagine the band without Anthony.. The rap style is I guess the only thing they could come up with such funkness..

Here's a clip from a movie Anthony did in 1978..:oyea:

This is from a grammy clip where George Clinton was on stage with them doing "Give It Away"
Now if that was Dee Snyder and Bobby Brown was on stage while Dee was singing.. Dee would tell Bobby to :stfu: with that Rap shit!! :heheh:

Ah It is good to listen to Freaky Styley after a lengthy gap since the last time. Chock full of great songs. Jungleman was always a favourite of mine.

Freaky Styley itself is an awesome tune.
Removed dead video

Catholic School Girls Rule. Another one I enjoy even for a short song.

Fight Like a Brave was my favourite tune as a kid and still is today. It lifts me up like Killing In The Name does by RATM
