Sorry Doc. I don't mind if they reply to the GFR track. All's good.

No problem....I liked the Rush track but it sounded more like the POlice than Rush....7.5/10 because I like Rush/....your thoughts on the GFR track Paranoid from what I consider their heaviest lp.?

 

[Catfish]

Big fan of GFR in the day. I'd give it an 8.0/10. I do have to admit I think Terry Knight jelled with Mark, Don, and Mel a little better in some subsequent albums. Not that polish or hook is better, just my $.02.

Hmmm... think I'll put one on the tee for the next one....

 

[Aero]

The perfect rock song. It could not have been sung or produced any better than it was. The guitar tone sounds amazing and Brad Delp's vocals hitting those high notes is just unreal. 10/10

 

[Hydrazoic Acid]

Smooth and very bluesy prog-song. Camel is a great band, I'm a big fan of them. 10/10.

 

[Aero]

Pink Floyd classic. I can appreciate the Biblical imagery in the song. In my opinion, the song's lyrics are very cryptic. But maybe they raise the question of, "Is it worth it to cut ourselves off from the horrors of the world if that means cutting ourselves off from others?" 9/10

 

[Hydrazoic Acid]

Not their best song, but nonetheless - it's Ramones. Even at not their best times they were awesome. Nice positive song. 8.5/10.

 

[Mistral Wind]

well, it's not bad, but it doesn't particularly catch me... Good singing, good instrument playing and good melodies, but no part really stands out. 6/10

 

[Hydrazoic Acid]

100 % hit from their classic LP. Just killing chorus! 10/10.

Very qualitative title track from their album of 1995. It was underrated because those times were very difficult for ex-glam-metal stars. Decent, all in all. 7/10.
