Length of the album contributes but for me it was the uninspired song writing that destroyed the album for me personally.
Ill pretty much stick to albums up until and including Hear in the Now Frontier.

More power to you if you find Dedicated a grower, glad someone can find good in an album no matter what other people think. :grinthumb

St Anger. Do you really wanna punish your ears like that? :heheh:
The drums will leave you with the same ringing you get from a concert without ear plugs. :oyea:

I know the CD all too well...all 5 times I played it since it came out :heheh:

Dedicated is not as much of a grower as Promised Land or HITNF

Trying Dedicated to Chaos again to see if there is anything remotely redeemable about it. Even American Soldiers worst stuff is still better than this shit. I believe in giving even a bad album a second chance but they have out lived their welcome.

Yeah I heard it through and there is not one song that I ever want to recall. It was all just atrocious crap. I don't see the band putting out anymore good material.

Queensryche was one of my favorite bands in the 80's and my favorite album from them is warning. The album was heavy, contained some of tates best vocals, had interesting dark apocalyptic lyrics, and had a atmospheric sound.
