I remember when I was introduced to Queensryche. I was in Seattle and my uncle or my grandfather, I don't remember which, it was years ago. One of them brought me to the local record store, and he picked out Nirvana's Nevermind, and a few others, and in the pile he picked out, this was in it:


To this day, that still remains to be my favorite album.

For me, this remains the best thing the band as a whole ever did. No frills about it, just 18 minutes of pure, ballsy, well-written, well-played heavy metal.

Absolutely top class, no doubts in my mind.

I have always liked them, especially Mindcrime and Empire. Their great cover of Neon Knights is a favorite of mine. Geoff is such an amazing vocalist..must be something in the Washington water that produces such great singers.
