The Byrds! Not all but several of their songs are psychedelic folk-rock.
Well with just a little bit of Electric, you've kinda got yourself Psychedelic Folk, The Byrds by that stage were Electric when Mr. Tambourine Man album came out early '65, trouble is their Preflyte stuff is also mainly electric as well as their Early Beefeaters Don't Be Long track from 64, which kinda leaves their Jet Set Track "The Only Girl that I adore" as their only Acoustic Folk track. To get to Psychedelic the track needs a splash of Acid, though there's hints of that on a couple of tracks as early as their Mr. Tambourine Man Album.

The Byrds certainly had some 'psychedelic folk rock' in their mix along the way but I never considered them a pych band either.

For CP/M.....you are obviously into 'mindfullness chill' but what are a few of your favorite rock bands over the years.

Well I posted them in here:

Perhaps it doesn't reflect on bands like The Byrds which I have most of their stuff, though also Pink Floyd, which I still don't have all their stuff, and Dire Straits I was a fan of since the 80s, another group I've become more fond of in the past decade is the Church. If you listen to those groups, such as Pink Floyd and The Church you can see why I get into more of those Mindfulness Chill types. Perhaps one band worth checking out there is All India Radio On Pink Floyd album. All India Radio incidentally is Martin Kennedy who has collaborated with Steve Kilbey whose from The Church, so it's a fine line between Rock and Electronic perhaps all thanks to Brian Eno.

I'll ck out All India Radio...not familiar with them.
I'm a fan of The Church,,,just listened to Sometime Anywhere yesterday. I need to ck out the newer stuff....Magician Among the Spirits is the latest I have.
I like earlier Floyd....up to The Wall...which I found overblown somewhat though it has a few great tracks.
Im also a fan of Eno.....love Before and After Science but I have many of his.

They're an Australian Electronic band from Tasmania that's been around since the late 90s. The On Pink Floyd album is perhaps more of an EP with 3 versions of "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" and 2 versions of "Julia Dream" and "Cirrus Mirror" and opens with "Obscured by Clouds".

So Martin Kennedy and Steve Kilbey have done a few albums together, the one I'm most familiar with is White Magic from 2011 with them dressed up in their Dinner Suits and Bow Ties. They have another track which appears to be from White Magic album, though was remixed in 2020 which I hear on Chill:

I could be wrong though I tend to think the band began exploring those Ambient avenues with Ummagumma, though they're not strictly Ambient, though demonstrate it on a few of their 70s albums.
Another track from The Church which have those Pink Floyd traits comes from the Pangaea 2009 EP with So Love May Find Us:

Im also a fan of Eno.....love Before and After Science but I have many of his.

It would be interesting to know how Eno left Roxy Music. It states he left due to conflicts of creative control in 1973, I don't know if the popularity of Dark Side of the Moon played a role in that, some sources say he had clashes with Brian Ferry, perhaps it was music direction? Everything just seems to fit in place with Dark Side of the Moon being released March 1973 and Brian Eno leaving Roxy Music July 1973, though it could all simply be coincidence!

I quite like Steve Kilbeys early lps like Earthed ,Unearthed, and Remindlessness......not heard the later ones. I lost track of Eno after his ambient lps....the last lp I listened to was Thursday Afternoon.
I might give a listen to his later things soon.,,I've read that Forever from 2022 is good.
