I'd rather listen to Carrie Underwoood than Aretha Franklin, not because she's fat and ugly...it's because her voice is annoying as hell.

Don't hate and judge good looking people with talent, because you will not like me.

And BTW, I'm not a Carrie Underwood fan, but have seen and heard her sing, she has a good voice and is a beautiful women...I can see why other women would be jealous of that talented hot young thing.

Well I do have a child , so yeah I watch some tv but it's mostly cartoons. No reality tv tho..I watch alot of tvland ..I like shows like Bewitched etc

I read alot of books mostly bios and historical fiction/history'

Currently reading about World War 2 /At Dawn We Slept/Bombing of Pearl Harbor .

Yes I'm indeed exposed to People,Star and those other gossip mags..a lady at work buys them and leaves them on the breakroom table . I admit I flip through them ....there all colorful and inviting like that ...also ever went through the check out at the local market ? Whats there? Those mags ..usually I read Mojo mag the Classic Rock mag


I work in a place thats' about 90% woman from the ages of 25-50's those are the demographics of America Idol and those mags too I think?

SO yes I'm very over exposed to it through the media around me..

When I go to get my haircut there are usually only two things one can read....styling mags or people....or women fashion mags. I skim through People. Big whoop.

As far as people at work? It's really true...the couple AI people I know really get into some heavy detail. They look at me as crazy as I probably look at them for not knowing A Day In The Life as a song by the Beatles.

I don't like the show, I have a right to dislike it. Just as you have a right to dislike Queen with the venom you usually do..

I work in a school, which is 90% women and as I told Fox, they are the ones watching it.And I am in a small community at work. so it gets very annoying. And I don't go around talking about The Beatles as much as I LOVE them ,as much as they talk about American Idol.

My sister has a 14 year old who loves A.I. and is a huge Kelly Clarkson fan, I mean HUGE..I am close to my family so ..of course I know things because of this...I hold my tongue out of respect for him. But I only watched two times ..when Kathrine Mcphee was on it..because thats who Jason was routing for

What I define as a redneck is someone who thinks narrowminded actually, one demensional and is usual very racist and opinionated about it. Caveman .

in the song description she mentions something about his playing pool with a trashy woman, getting drunk on cheap booze and really makes him look like a moron. I question why someone as bright and sweet as she is {she is isn;t she?} would be with a guy like that...it makes no sense?

American Idol doesn't usually breed this kinda musician....I mentioned Carrie because shes the current big hitter.
