Pop stars worse than Celine Dion?

No I'd say you are right Groovy! If she continues to have a career I believe it definitely proves that not only is she determined but I dare say it might also mean she has talent considering her original audience is growing up. I know I'm curious to she what her future work entails. I'm hoping it leans towards her third album because there is a lot of subtle, more singer songwriter songs in the vein of Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon, etc. I like to see an artist grow and develop there craft.

but, kinda glad you seen it.

I'm not a Kelly Clarkson fan...but don't hate her..she kinda did her own thing, that's why people noticed her....she didn't go down the Britney Spears bimbo path other pop tarts took.

I know there are millions of fans that like this program so I have watched it a few times when exposed to it and read a few references to it out of curiosity.
to see what the fuss is about..

if everyone around you was excited about something..wouldn't you what to know why ?

I work in a preschool where I spend 8 hours with people and they talk about alot of stuff . small groups of women gossip it's a fact,
it would be impossible to get away or tell some to shut up in my situation.

I never said or implied I was better than anyone..this thread is about a negative subject . Who is the worse pop star . I stated why and who, sorry if my humor was misunderstood

I just feel that reality shows are not very real..and that real music is in your in your local pubs/clubs. Alot of my friends are musicians . I like to see THAT kinda undiscovered talent. I'd like to see people like them get the respect they deserve..

but the world is changing and pop music is taking over the music business. I don't have to like it ...and I don't. Just because MILLIONS of people like shows like this..doesn't mean EVERYONE does..

so thats all I have to say,

Where I go and get my haircut, I just thumb through the men's magazines, I'm not there waiting there long enough to read whole articles....especially about American Idol.



Why would anyone read stories about ''American Idol'', when they hate the show, like Astrid?

Can't narrow it down to one. But I have to give her props for My Heart Will Go On. That crap makes me shed a tear every damn time I hear it. Any musician that overprices their tickets to the degree she does (AHEM Paul McCartney) loses a piece of my respect. Or just remains disrespected.
