I don't know about the looking part as Celine Dion looks anything from an extraterrestrial to a giraffe on crack but music wise Beyonce is a very close number 2!

Jeez, I think that Mariah Carey, Jessica Simpson, & Beyonce all look great.
Don't care for their music at all, but I do like their looks quite a bit.
I think Amy Winehouse is way more talented than all 3 of them put together, but she has turned into a God-awful, fugly skag in the past few years. Sad what she has done to herself.

and for the record, I also think that Dolly Parton has a nice voice, and she knows how to use it well. She sings country, so she sings in the major pentatonic (country) scale, as opposed to the minor pentatonic ( basically, the blues scale), or a combination of the major/minor pentatonic scales (which is basic rock 'n' roll...although you can also sing in the various musical modes and still be singing rock). You don't hear much straight ahead pentatonic major singing in rock, but you do hear guitars playing that scale a fair amount...on the more 'countrified' and rockabilly tunes.

Lady ga ga and beyonce,when they released the song Telephone it was just too much for me,the video is a no go area for me also. I could actually write a list of singers who i just cant abide,those 2 would be top of the list.
