Re: Ozzy Osbourne "Scream"

I like it. I happen to like Black Rain more but I really enjoy BR a lot.

My personal opinion is that most of the crap Ozzy receives these days is due
his having been on a reality TV show, and the fact that his wife is the hated
Sharon Osbourne. And lets not forget the fact that he has commented the
unforgivable act of growing old.

I wish people would just give the music a listen w/o adding all the baggage
to their opinions.

:grinthumb MP Right on.. Pretty good CD if you ask me..
Check out this track. But listen to the whole thing because it has a nice change towards the end..
Reminds me a little of the theme song for Nightmare on Elm Street..:cheers2

OK well I got it and checked it out and it's on it's second spin as I write this. I like it. It's very heavy. The downside is I wish he would have went with a more European influence as he had back with Diary Of A Madman and albums before and after.

But there is no song or arrangements that makes me believe "it sucks" but rather there are a couple songs that don't really stick in the mind after listening the way past albums would.

But all in all I think it's an enjoyable album. :grinthumb

I do not own Bark At The Moon Or Diary Of a Madman but have heard tracks from both and I have to say I like his style way after those two solo albums.
In other words I'm using the old cliche' that he has improved with age or at least he still has connected with the right musicians.
I find the "Scream" Cd to be worthy of a well put together accomplishment for Ozzy.
I just wonder how many more good performances and studio albums will we get out of him.
These day's he still has quite the spark of life in him and with so many greats passing I just hope his days are no where close to coming to a end..
