The Ramones, IMO the only really fun band punk ever produced and who you could dance to, and didn't look and sound as if they just wanted to rip your throat out as soon as look at you...they were basically a late 50's/early 60's throwback dance hall/prom night band who came along 20 years too late....more Phil Spector/Buddy Holly than all that anarchy BS....an immense band.
