Which song or songs brought you to this realization? He charged them in a way their earlier drummers did not.

Most of it was not just listening to Come As You Are, but actually listening to the song from a musician's point of view. All Apologies was another one that I liked. I thought Kurt Cobain was the only talented one. I guess he had a little sidekick.:)

Cobain praised Grohl for being a flat-out rocker and also having the ability to provide more subtle fills. Grohl loved Bonham, which tells something about his quest for power. As flat-out rockers go, i love the way he propels Breed. He was also a very good harmony singer, especially on In Utero and Unplugged in New York.
