I tried to score some Coldplay tickets but they were about $200 a pop.
Wow! That's a lot. When Coldplay came here (2007 I believe) they decided to do 3 "small" concerts (about 15.000 people each concert) instead of one big stadium show. And that sucked because the prices were very high. The cheapest was about 80 dollars, and the most expensive was at least 160 dollars I believe. That to some of you may not sound like a lot of money (I don't really know, considering I ignore how much a ticket costs in your respective countries), but in Chile that's a lot of money. We also have the highest ticket prices in South America always and sometimes of the world. I believe it was Madonna or U2 or some big show like that, that Chile ticket prices were the highest in all of the tour. So when Coldplay came, they knew the price was really high for a southamerican country and really helped out a lot of fans, because they didn't know the prices of the show until they got here.
