And I agree with Lynch, ELO was Jeff's vehicle, everyone else who was in the band over the years could be replaced, but not Him.

Even more so than that anyone could be replaced (on stage), didn't Jeff play nearly every single instrument in the studio as well .. and the rest of the band just kind of filled in when/if needed and was more for touring?

I could be wrong about that, but I'm pretty sure I've read that he did just about everything from guitar, singing, bass, drums, keys, etc. *shrug*
