My Top 50 of 2010

I have picked up all these metal albums from 2010, I think it was a fantastic year for metal on the whole. To pick my favorites is tough, and some of the new additions I haven't given the time and attention to them they deserve, but I'll think about which ones stand out and post them later.







Everything was going perfectly until I was almost finished and realized I had forgotten one of the most pleasant surprises I found this year, the very last album and it's the only one not in alphabetical order,,,but I didn't feel like doing them all over again so it's the last one.

Mistheria is surprisingly good, the keyboards are excellent, I can't remember his name but he reminds me of Andre Andersen of Royal Hunt.

Sabaton are cool, I was going to write a thread for them one of these days, they specialize in songs about battles from the past.

Excalion I have only played twice, so I can't offer much background on them yet.

Ross The Boss is from LOU's recommendation, the lead guitarist from Manowar, plain hard driving heavy metal.

Nice list LG. A few things I over looked ,some I had no idea where even out
and some I have never heard of.

I am impressed w/ your knowledge of power metal .Iron Fire, Iron Mask .
Sabaton (..I was thinking those were from 2009 but I could wrong ...)
Nostradamus etc. great bands that not many people are aware of.
I was surprised to see Sodom make your list

I know what you mean about not having really had time to pick out your top albums .It was another great year for metal \m/

Yeah, I guess those came out in the very beginning of 2010 ? I just forgot about them being released this year ...good albums though.
