I've been into this tune lately



I almost seen him & as I remember he was supposed to open for Eric Clapton in Buffalo in 1982 but had to cancel & the Fabulous Thunderbirds were added instead. Back then I wasn't really familiar with him or the older bluesplayers but a funny thing happened after that show. The next day while working in a supermarket a customer(probably in his 50's looking like a cross between Zappa & Captain Beefhart) overheard me talking about the concert...To make a long story short(because I may have wrote it on another thread a few years back) the guy ended up making me up a blues mix tape with Freddie King,Albert Collins,Albert King,Muddy,& a few others & I was hooked on the blues ever since
