Mine too. That album contains some great songs, like "Strawberry Fields Forever", "I am the Walrus", etc.

I completely agree. The problem is people focus on the negative sides of the album ("Your mother should know", "Flying") Honestly, I actually kind of like flying. I dont know why the reception is so bad.

I think it's because people back then used to listen old-school Beatles, and their experimental phase just shocked them.

I picked George's best album, "All Things Must Pass".

I like Magical Mystery Tour, but it is definitely not the Beatles best work, at least not on my list of their albums.

Hmmmmm. While "Magical Mystery Tour" deserves more accolades when compared with Beatles albums such as the "White Album", "Abbey Road" and "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", it's far from the Beatles most underrated album. Try "Beatles '65", "Beatlemania" or "Twist and Shout" for that title.

What I also can't understand is why you limited your selections to five when you could have had as many as twenty. There are hundreds of underrated albums out there.

:wtf:

I'll go for "Village Green Preservation Society" from this list though.

I am going with Harrison's All Things Must Pass..epic album for George. Some of his best songwriting is in this album.

My vote goes to MMT as well. It doesn't get the respect it deserves. It was also among the earliest albums I bought when I was just beginning to establish my vinyl library way back when.

Village Green would be my second choice, also an early album purchase. I love that album. It's dismissed as a weak Kinks offering but it's chock full of gems and rated pretty high in influence by many a musician and enthusiast, not unlike Love's Forever Changes album, also an overlooked classic.
