Difficult choice. Overall, Soundgarden. The album Badmotorfinger has a special place in my heart.
Both Scott and Chris by themselves and with their bands made fantastic music!

Stone Temple Pilots for me. Their first album, Core, is so great. I would not trade it for three Soundgarden albums.
I saw STP (with Weiland) live twice and I listen to their first three albums often.

I should add that I listen to Temple of The Dog more than Soundgarden also and they only recorded one album.
Oh, I have most of Soundgarden’s albums. There early albums are terrible. They did become better.
