So basically, pop music has been going downhill since 1989, having been ruined by the (((people))) who run the music industry. Melody has been stripped out of songs and intelligent lyrics replaced by uninspiring tripe that only appeals to the lowest common denominator of the population.

It does, although I was surprised that at least half of the 90's tracks didn't bother or surprise me. After about '97 though, the entire rest of the list is shit.
