Freddie Mercury hands down. He knew how to win over and thoroughly entertain a crowd.

I've seen a ton of bands in my day. I think that the most energetic singers that I have personally seen would be:

Paul Stanley
David Lee Roth
Sammy Hagar
Rob Halford
Bruce Dickenson
Mick Jaggar
Rod Stewart


Those are the guys that stand out above the rest. There are other good, energetic front men, but these guys were tops.

I would also go with Freddie Mercury. That man totally rocks. I think there aren't that many good frotnmen out today. It just seems like all past times were better (at least in the frontman category, ando probably in a lot other rock related things).

For me, the best frontman in the world - is Freddie Mercury. There are many great rock singers, but none can compare with him. Such a talent is born once every hundred years!

Generally it has been hair metal guys like Vince Neil, Kevin DuBrow, Bret Michaels, etc.
