BRET MICHAELS To Tour With LYNYRD SKYNYRD - Mar. 22, 2010
The Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida will be the first stop on a multi-city tour featuring legendary artists LYNYRD SKYNYRD and POISON singer Bret Michaels along with guests .38 SPECIAL.

Speaking about the tour, LYNYRD SKYNYRD vocalist Johnny Van Zant said, "The band and I have been friends with Bret for years and are looking forward to finally getting to tour with him. It's going to be a kick-ass show complete with new music plus all the fan favorites. SKYNYRD will definitely be pulling for Bret to become the next 'Celebrity Apprentice'!"

"There is no doubt that LYNYRD SKYNYRD is one of my all-time favorite rock and roll bands. I have been friends with them a long time, so I am honored that SKYNYRD has asked me to join them on their tour this summer," says Bret Michaels. "I will have a chance to play all the POISON greatest hits, plus all the new solo hits including 'Nothing to Lose' (featuring Miley Cyrus), songs from 'Rock of Love', 'Celebrity Apprentice' and the new solo CD, 'Custom Built'.

I will be there on June 18.It's been a few years since I have since 38 Special.I see Skynyrd almost everytime they come to Raleigh.

I saw Skynryd in Manchester last year and they were fantastic. I would really like to see them and 38 Special together on the same bill ... sounds great.

I have seen Skynyrd and .38 Special together before.It was a great show.
I also have seen Skynyrd with a wide variety of acts-Kid Rock,Allman Brothers and Doobie Brothers to name a few.

Skynyrd bassist Robert Kearns showed up at a concert I went to the other night.It was all local bands-Nantucket,PKM and Sidewinder.It was a benefit concert for PKM lead singer Michael Gardner,who has Parkinson's Disease.Kearns played in another local band Cry Of Love as well as Sidewinder.

Bret's singing with Miley Cyrus on Good Morning America on Friday morning.Maybe that means he won't be in Raleigh Friday night

Somehow I guess he will make it to the show but I am only going for Skynyrd and .38 Special
