I appreciate that she hasn't just done Born to Die part II. This one goes more in the direction of dream pop, with a floating atmosphere. I miss the heavy beats, the hip hop (weird, I know), the really surprising moments and a bit more variety in her vocals, but none the less, I would not call the album a disappointment. She had promised change and she did, not necessarily for the worse, just different. I would probably rate Born to Die 9/10, so this one is an 8-8,5/10.
