Yeah I know that and I know the song. I just never made the connection. But it's there...wasn't paying enough attention to it. But very cool trivia.






I always liked Jimi's posthumous released vinyl albums the CRY OF LOVE, RAINBOW BRIDGE, WAR HEROES & LOOSE ENDS (not released in the USA) also the Alan Douglas albums CRASH LANDING & MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING (Midnight lightning had a couple of interesting tracks in Trashman & Machine gun on it).
All these vinyl albums were eventually deleted and although they were all originally released on the cd format during the 1980s they in turn were all deleted when EXPERIENCE HENDRIX took charge of Jimi's recorded works/back catalogue in the mid-1990s.
